Whether you've been in a small group for years or you have never read the Bible, our groups exist to build community, provide space for spiritual growth, and offer support and accountability on your faith journey.
No matter where you are in your faith, joining a small group puts you face to face with your peers and allows you to dive into the meaning of Scripture and the Church's teachings, helping you to make practical, real life applications.
IndyCatholic offers opportunities to go deeper and learn more about your faith through small groups. Emmaus groups are a place to develop authentic friendships, be deeply transformed, and learn the call of every Christian. Our groups vary on when, where and how often they meet. There are groups for men, women, married couples, and various ages throughout the archdiocese.
In this time of social distancing, it's more crucial than ever to connect with your peers and put our hope and trust in God in these times of uncertainty. We hope you'll take us up on our invitation! Groups meet weekly or biweekly for about an hour, and consist of relationship building, prayer, and conversation.
Are you interested in being in a group? Feeling alone and wanting to connect with like-minded peers? Need something to look forward to in your week? Feeling a little lost or confused and wanting to deepen your trust in the Lord? LENT is the perfect time to go deeper.

"When I first moved to Indianapolis two years ago, leading an Emmaus Group was something I didn't want to do! But I am so glad the Lord slowly helped me change my mind. I now have a solid group of Christ focused women who are are not only striving to be better Catholics but are actively taking on challenges to become women who make a difference in their communities. It has brought an incredible amount of joy and security to know that these women have my back. I have been challenged to grow in virtue and have become more practiced in how to talk about my faith openly and confidently thanks to these women. They remind me to pray without ceasing and to always have fun while doing it! Becoming an Emmaus Group leader was one of the best decisions I could have made and I am so happy for these life long authentic friendships."
