Operation Leftover - homeless outreach

During a "Rollout," we hit the streets of Indianapolis to socialize with those whos basic needs are not being met. By providing fellowship, sharing faith, and providing resources to our brothers and sisters out on the street, we can empower them to get where they need to be. 

We'll gather on the front steps outside of St. John's downtown to pray and sort through items. If you have any of the following items, please bring them: 

• T-shirts
• Socks
• Non-perishable Snack Food
• Bus passes
• Backpacks
• Hand Sanitizer
• Beef Jerky
• Small Flashlights
• M/W Undergarments (Size M-XL)
• Blankets
• Razors
• Men's Mini-Deodorant
• Small shaving cream cans
• Pens
• Blankets

In light of COVID-19 the follow best practices are to be followed:

• We will be observing social distancing as best we can during the rollout.
• For safety reasons, please refrain from handing out any cash to those whom we encounter. 
• Dress appropriately for the weather, wear good walking shoes and be mindful of street traffic.
• Stay together in groups and keep valuables concealed or stored away.
• Please bring your own masks and hand sanitizer. I am going to try to purchase some hand sanitizer beforehand, but I may be unable to due to the high demand.
• Route captains should check in with Andrew upon completion of their route or if there are any problems.
• If you need to fill out a waiver, please see me before you embark on your route.
