Join us for the first Friday of the month as we hop around to different parishes in the archdiocese for a holy hour of prayer, reflection, praise and worship music, and reconciliation.
In our fast-paced world, it’s good to take some time to reflect and pray. Whether you pray frequently or you’re not even sure where to start, this event is for you. We gather in a Church and have some individual time for prayer and reflection, but we’ll also provide a reflection guide and some music to assist you if you’re new to this! We always have priests available for confession as well.
This is a great way to meet others in our community, build prayer time into your schedule, and visit a new Church in our Archdiocese. We hope you'll join us!
Here's how the night works:
7pm: Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. The guided Holy Hour includes silent time for prayer and praise and worship music. A reflection guide is provided and reconciliation and prayer teams are available to pray with you for specific intentions.
8pm: In a typical year, the parish would serve a meal after. With COVID-19 precautions, we are fore-going this piece of First Friday for now.
